These days you have to be really careful of what types of baby products you use. In commercial wipes, diapers, shampoos, body washes, bubble bath, etc big companies use the cheapest ingredients in their products. It is cheaper for them but toxic to your baby. I have even found in the "All Natural" products there are still chemical and coloring. Please take responsibility of paying attention to this. You can reduce diaper rash by making your own wipes and they are also cheaper.
Instructions
-
Step1
First invest in a rectangular deep piece of tupperware if you do not already own one. The rectangle shape is perfect since this is the shape you will cut your wipes in to.
-
Step2
Next go to your local Walmart, target, or grocery store and stock up on VIVA paper towels. These are the best. They are so soft for your baby's tushie and very durable. They actually feel like a real baby wipe.
-
Step3
Bring the paper towels home and open them up. Tear the thirds and place them in a neat pile. Once you have a pile of about 15-20, cut them in half. Repeat until the whole roll is gone.
-
Step4
Next take your tupperware container and fill with spring water about 3/4 to the top.
-
Step5
Take a bunch of the paper towels and place in the water. Let that bunch soak up the water. Place more in and keep doing this until all the water is all soaked up.
-
Step6
Once all the water is soaked up take out the pile and flip over. You want to make sure all the wipes have sufficient water. Also you want to be sure that the wipes are not drenched. Too much water is not good. Add more paper towels if there is alot of excess water.
-
Step7
Once you are sure they are just right, put the cover on the tupperware, seal completely and shake a few times.
-
Step8
Your chemical free wipes are ready to use!
